This sounds like a great show. I'm going to have to seek out the new episodes.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited! I don't have cable so I couldn't watch but thank you for posting the results! I'm just jealous of everyone in Britain right now, who can celebrate the wins AND watch the second season while we still have to wait. Come on January 8!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME - if any series deserves such recognition, it is this one. =)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you, Christine! Where IS January!? ;D
I also listed the Emmy wins--just after watching the Emmy presentations--in a comment at the preceding entry with the photos of Matthew and Mary.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, the Emmy program, itself, was a colossal bore. For those who didn't view the program, the only points of interest were seeing the winners. Maggie Smith was not present to accept her award in person. Fellowes and Percival were. Nominee Elizabeth McGovern was in the audience.

P.S.
ReplyDeleteAll award nominations and wins for this series can be viewed both at Wikipedia [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Downton_Abbey ] and most/more inclusively at IMDb [ http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1606375/awards ].
