New faces will be seen in Downton Abbey's upcoming Christmas special!
Just a reminder, besides the 8 episodes which will air on ITV in the Fall, we can look forward to a Christmas special which will pick up where the series leaves off.
Nigel Havers will play Lord Hepworth
Sharon Small will play Marigold Shore(maid to Lady Rosamond played by Samantha Bond)

ReplyDeleteVery interesting! I've always enjoyed Nigel Havers, he's one of the best! And I have a new appreciation for Sharon Small since watching the Inspector Lynley Mysteries and then watching Miss Marple: The Blue Geranium where she played a totally different character! They will make good additions to an already fabulous cast!

I too am waiting (until January) for Downton. Will the Christmas show be shown on PBS after the original 8 episodes are finished?

I'm assuming that PBS will also air the Christmas special following the 8-episode run but yes, that will make it an odd time for the Christmas one, won't it? Yet another downside to PBS not airing it at the same time.
