Inquiring minds wanted to know when they could purchase the DVD starring Michael Fassbender and Mia Wasikowska as Rochester and Jane Jane Eyre will be available August 16, 2011
This is one of the loveliest films...the cinematography is amazing. Charlotte Bronte die hard fans may not like the edited version for movie theater but I thought it was pretty darn good. Except for the beard at the end, but that is my personal preference!
I agree with both Jenny and Cristy. I thought it was so lovely and everyone in the theater I was with couldnt stop talking about it afterwards & how it was a great version of the novel. Jane Eyre is my favorite novel and I am not picky like a lot of other people who also love the novel as much as I do because I thought this film was great. I thought it was impressive. Oh and it doesnt hurt that I have had a huge crush on Michael Fassbender . :)
@Dave I agree, I felt like the heart of the story was left out. It seemed that the director spent his time on covering all the plot points but forgot to give the story depth.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad that others have enjoyed this adaptation even though I can't share in your enthusiasm.
ReplyDeleteI found the movie technically well done but especially at the end, well, spiritless.
