Downton Abbey scores 11 Emmy nominations

UPDATED RESULTS HERE

The nominations for the upcoming Emmy Awards (to be held September 18, 2011) have been announced and Downton Abbey has been honoured with 11 nominations! Mildred Pierce, starring Kate Winslet, leads the pack with 21 nods but I'm hoping that Downton will not walk away empty handed!

    I agree but somehow I don't think Downton will register with the American voters. She's against Evan Rachel Wood and 2 others from Mildred Pierce, and Eileen Atkins from Upstairs, Downstairs. I think Wood has a good chance of winning.
