Wanted to give a shout out to Richard Armitage fans out there who might want to lend their voice to the effort to persuade the powers that be to finally produce Richard's film on the last king from the House of York.
From Richard III for Richard Armitage's Facebook page:
"Born on August 22, Richard Armitage was named after Richard III by his father since the king died on that day. RA's dad is a big RIII fan and it has been a long-cherished dream of RA to tell the story of RIII through a television series, as a prequel to The Tudors. Although the BBC has shown some interest, it has yet to be funded and RA is growing older and may outgrow his ability to play the king. We need to show the BBC that there is an audience for this series."
Here's hoping that some company (BBC or otherwise) see the wisdom in bringing this project to fruition. Do they not comprehend the legion of fans out there??
