  1. Now that I've seen the trailer, I'm not sure what to think about it. I was excited to see the remake of "The Three Musketeers", but doesn't it seem a bit too changed? It's looks like fantasy and The Matrix mixed together with France's musketeer period. But I'd better hold my judgement till I watch the whole movie.

  2. Jemimah,
The director at one point said it would be done in a similar style to Pirates of the Caribbean and judging from the trailer, it will have some fantasy elements. I thought it would be a more traditional adaptation but at least we know ahead of time what to expect!

  3. Hmmm...Not sure about this adaptation. I am a fan of the original story, I will probably still see it, if anything, because of Matthew Macfadyen.
By the way... Do you have any information on the upcoming series "The Borgias" starring Jeremy Irons?

  4. Marta,
The Borgias is laced with too much scandal for my liking. I prefer my dramas to be more inspiring so I won't be posting about that one.

  5. Thanks for your information on the Borgias...I am not sure I would like that either. If is anything like "The Tudors" I know I won't like it. Jeremy Irons is a great actor, but he likes to play these deviate characters sometimes.
    Thanks for the heads up!

  6. ugh... it looks like it will be a robin hood (new with russell crowe) for me. its one thing to add action to make it interesting. its completely different to add a flying ship.

as for "The Borgias", my art history professor made it sound like it was going to be inaccurate like "The Tutors" but they were a crazy corrupt family. So probably embellished and exaggerated but from the way she talks, it might not be much. She is every excited to watch it.
