Hi Cheryl,
ReplyDeleteLooks like they've done a good job with this. It will have to be good to beat my current favourite version from 2006 with Ruth Wilson and Toby Stephens (son of Dame Maggie Smith). I was at Haddon Hall in Derbyshire in 2009 and this seems to really be Thornfield as they have used it in 3 Jane Eyre adaptations. I'll have to blog about my afternoon at Haddon/Thornfield Hall (with photos) before the release on March 11!
Jenny, jealous that you were able to visit Haddon Hall but look forward to seeing your pictures! I'm curious about the new Jane Eyre but highly doubt they will exceed my fondness for Toby and Ruth!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so wonderful!!! I can't wait until it comes out in March. I think they made a great choice in Mia Wasikowska.
