  2. Wow! Again I can't believe they chose to release these clips!
There's quite a tention between these two, you can feel it. I can't decide if I like them or not. It's an interesting pairing.

  4. I can't believe they released this scene as well! It is a very important scene. But, there is no chemistry between these two, it doesn't seem. My favorite version of Jane Eyre is with Zelah Clark and Timothy Dalton...and they blow these two (Mia and Michael) out of the water! It is too bad.

  5. Wow that they released the proposal scene already! I was initially excited about this adaptation despite the fact that a) I think it's too soon and b) I loved the 2006 version but after seeing Mia in that proposal scene, I'm not so sure, she acted that scene kind of...woodenly. I actually looked up the 2006 proposal scene afterwards *blushes* But maybe I need to see the whole movie before I really decide. Thanks for sharing it!

  6. Thank you for posting these clips!!The chemistry seems lukewarm in this verion. My favorite version is the one starring Toby Stevens and Ruth Wilson.

  7. I first read the book when I was seven and have read it many times since. I have been on a Jane Eyre marathon with a friend who is obsessed with the story even though she's never read the book and had never seen any but the William Hurt version. My husband calls us "The Eyreheads"! By next Monday evening we will have seen EVERY version and be ready to see the latest on the day it opens. We will be joined by two other friends on that occasion and will have afternoon tea following the movie.
