  1. I loved this one. A bit melodramatic at times, but I was totally hooked. The only thing that I didn't like was that they leave you hanging. They must have anticipated a second season that never happened, so you have to imagine your own ending. Like peeking in to another world, and then having the peephole abruptly closed.

  2. I keep hearing the same thing from people who loved it but disliked the loose ends. Yep, turns out that it didn't get renewed for a second season but I loved it just the same!

  3. I'm sorry but I can't stop giggling at the pictures of Hermoine Norris! I really only seen her in as Ros in [spooks] and Carol in "Wire in the Blood" and to see her in period costumes is a bit of a jolt to my senses...LOL

  4. tyme 4 t-That`s funny, I had it the other way. Seeing Hermione Norris as Ros in Spooks dressed in leather and running around with guns was weird after seeing her as an Edwardian lady. Rather similar personalities to the characters however. She doesn`t seem to be offered warm fuzzy parts.

  5. My sister (Jenny Allworthy) turned me onto this series, which she ordered from Amazon - as I recall - based solely on rave reviews from other lovers of period drama! It was a wonderful series, but like many others, I was disheartened that it didn't get renewed for a second season. Loved the characters ... my favourite was Lydia!

  6. I just loved this series and wanted it to go on, which is the same feeling I had when Casualty 1900's ended. Perhaps it's time to get out my set and watch it again.

  7. tyme_4_t,
I'm in the same boat as Jenny. Saw Hermione in BS first and I've not watched Spooks but I've seen clips here and there and wondered what Mrs. St.John was doing playing "cops and robbers"! :)

As for the series not being renewed, they obviously didn't know how to find their audience since we all want more!
