It looks interesting! Wish I could watch it here in the States.... I wonder if someone will load it to YouTube? :-)
ReplyDeleteIf it keeps to the true account of Christmas, it'll be wonderful! That's neat that BBC even made a miniseries about it at all!
This is really interesting! I'd love to see this! I like that the actors who play Mary and Joseph (and even Gabriel) look like ordinary people and aren't just pretty faces (at least that's how it appears).
ReplyDeleteThis also answers some questions of why actress Tatiana Maslany didn't reprise her role as Matilda Bassett in An Old-Fashioned Christmas - she was playing Mary! Wow! Thanks for posting this!

Melanie,
ReplyDeleteI hope that it will be made available to us somehow...
Laurie,
I didn't realize that Tatiana was in Old-Fashioned Thanksgiving! I haven't watched that movie yet or Old-Fashioned Christmas so didn't know that the character had changed.
CharleyBrown - Just a heads up!
ReplyDeleteCBC is airing "The Nativity" on Thursday Dec 23rd (8pm-10pm EST)!
Thanks tyme_4_t!
ReplyDeleteI added it to the post and will look for it myself!
Just finished seeing the final episode and can thoroughly recommend it. The series beautiful and moving. A must see!
ReplyDeleteThis is definitley worth seeing my favorite Nativity Movie yet.The insightfulness of the Magi characters and their care in talking to Herod's adviser was very perceptive. A MUST SEE!
