The Conspirator debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2010. Director Robert Redford says he and his cast strived for accuracy to shed light on a little-known part of Abraham Lincoln's assassination.

Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions have acquired distribution rights and are planning to release the film in spring of 2011.

Wow! I have always had a soft spot for Robert Redford. I actually didn't realize he used to sketch and write too. If I'd known that I probably would have been even more smitten!
ReplyDeleteJames McAvoy is a sweetie too, although I don't know anything about him.
This production looks very interesting. I have always been fascinated with Abraham Lincoln and the assassination. Can't wait to see this.
