Casualty 1909, the third installment of the series, is currently airing on TVO. Seeing as I have a weak stomach when it comes to medical issues, I readily admit that the main reason I tuned into this series was for the romance between Dr. Milais Culpin (William Houston, North & South) and nurse Ethel Bennett (Charity Wakefield, Sense & Sensibility). I did however, learn some interesting facts about medicine and the social issues of 1900's London along the way.
