You are welcome. I can't wait to see this film - what an outstanding cast. It's only been screened at the Telluride Festival with a handful seeing it and already it's receiving Oscar Buzz!
This sounds like a must-see film - I love classic Russian literature, especially Tolstoy though I haven't read this one. Thanks for highlighting this production - we no longer have an arthouse cinema in my area, so I may have to wait for it on DVD, though the fine cast may mean it does get a wider British release... Maria and Judy, there is a Facebook page for the Release of The Last Station. Please go there and leave a comment that you would like to see this film in your area. We are seeking to get additional release dates and additional distributors for it.
Since your blog is a pleasure to my eyes ... you deserve The Great Look Award! HAve a look at http://flyhigh-by-learnonline.blogspot.com/2009/10/mixed-saturday-posting.html
Thanks Ashley! I think Last Station looks interesting too! Interesting to explore a Russian author since it seems we spend a lot of time focusing on the Brits (who I love but nice for a change)
Wow! This is another unmissable one! When is it going to be released?
