Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood - Art

The Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood was a group of English painters, poets, and critics, founded in 1848 by William Holman Hunt, John Everett Millais and Dante Gabriel Rossetti. 2. Hi Noelia!
I'd love to see some of these paintings up close for sure! I have to say that I wasn't drawn to any of Rosetti's paintings...

  4. You're right Peri! Waterhouse is one of the ones that made me want to post some of these works of art on here! I started the ball rolling with him and Dicksee and Leighton :)

  5. Hi Charley! I love the pre-Raphaelites too - we had a good documentary series about them on BBC4 recently in the UK. So far I'd say 'Desperate Romantics' is a bit of a disappointment as it mainly focuses on their love lives rather than their art and also makes it look as if the PRB only had three members - but still very watchable, even so. 6. Hi Judy!
I think I'd be interested in seeing the documentary since Desperate Romantics sounded like they were promoting it as a steamy series - not my style :)
