Inspired by Jane Austen ...

Pride and Prejudice has been published by Ignatius Press as part of their Critical Editions series.

Christopher Blum, professor of humanities at Thomas More College, writes the introduction to this edition and talks about how "Jane Austen's novels help us pursue the good." (article here)
Blum writes, "If we looked to her only to affirm virtuous behavior and to condemn viciousness, then we might as well read a catechism or a morality play. What she provides is still more precious, if less obviously necessary, for she shows us that virtue, while difficult, is eminently desirable."

He also mentions the following book which talks about Jane Austen as being one of the last great ethicists...
After Virtue: A Study in Moral Theory
